Sexy Like A Cheerleader, Strong Like A Linebacker Super Bowl Workout

Stomp, stomp, clap! Stomp, stomp, clap! Alright, listen up team. The Super Bowl is in 5 days. If we want to win this Sunday, we’ve got to stay focused, believe in ourselves, and train hard. Here’s the game plan: do this Super Bowl Workout at least one time this week before game day and your team is guaranteed to win. Okay, that last part’s not true, but you are guaranteed to get in a damn good workout! Whether you want to look sexy like a cheerleader, or get strong like a linebacker, this workout has got it all.

For this workout, you’ll need an agility ladder.


Don’t fret if you don’t have one. All you need is some chalk or colored tape to quickly make your own. This is a great tutorial on making a homemade agility ladder (complete with dimension suggestions and everything).

  4. Great workout Ali! Love the use of the agility ladder and great idea to use chalk! I’m so not into football even with a husband who is a football freak! I actually think that’s part of the reason I’m not interested. He gets so intense when his team plays that it makes it hard to enjoy a game. Even though I don’t love it, I’ll be rooting for SF!

  5. haha love the title of your workout–so cute! oh man, I know for sure I can perform all those moves but for soooommme reason I feel like a ladder drill would kill me as I’d end up tripping up over stuff! Perhaps it’s the pregnant woman in me that makes me fearful of tripping up? :P

    • Haha thanks, Ellie! Yeah, waiting to try this out until the little one has joined the world is probably a good idea. ;) But, I’m still with you on the tripping (preggers or not) – that’s the good thing about using tape or chalk because you can’t trip over it (plus it’s cheaper). :D
